"Islamorada" Beach Bungalow
An Ocean City Beach House with a Florida Keys Attitude! This Contemporary waterfront single family home is decorated in a Key West cottage style. While appealing to the most discriminating rental guests, this home is very relaxed and cozy. Perfect for families with children or several couples. Sorry, no smoking or pets allowed! 30 ft. vaulted ceiling with skylights! Dining table which seats 6, breakfast bar with 2 barstools. Queen pullout sleeper sofa with upgraded mattress is next to sliding door opening to back deck!
Compact kitchen is very efficient for quick meal preparation! Completely outfitted with all the comforts of home, stoneware dishes, glasses, plastic plates and cups with nautical theme, coffee mugs, knives, cooking utensils, pots. Islamorada has two ground level bedrooms. A huge Master Bedroom Suite overlooks the water, with king bed with vintage ceiling tile headboard. Sliding glass doors walk out to rear deck and water. Walk-in closet and separate sink/toilet and shower areas. A second Master with Queen size bed and Victorian gingerbread headboard, and walk-in closet. Room is off foyer with a full bathroom directly across foyer.
Upstairs are three twin platform beds for the young ones and guests. Shares foyer bath. The loft has a huge Atlantic Boardwalk basket filled with stuffed animals. Also, a colorful box is filled with board games. TV for playing video games or watching videos, too. Enjoy the pinball machine with free play! Lots of books, too. Perfect to keep you or your children occupied for hours!
Large front deck with stone planter filled with flowers! Five foot long “crab-cracking” picnic table, plus two Aidirondack chairs to watch the sunset, two cocktail tables to hold drinks and snacks. A side deck connects Front Deck to Large back deck (38 ft. by 14.5 ft.). Rear deck overlooks 30-foot dock and a 50-foot wide canal with beautiful view of the bay. Equipped with dining table and four chairs, sunbathing lounge chairs, large charcoal grill, crab trap and crabbing net, for catching your own Chesapeake Bay crab dinner off the dock! Just add Old Bay seasoning!
Laundry Room off of back deck features stackable washer and dryer. Two steps down from back deck is an outdoor shower—nice for showering off the sand. Islamorada is in a quiet and safe neighborhood—one car fits in driveway and two on the street (parking passes required—available through property manager). House has a 30 foot long dock and a small jet ski lift. Bring your own boat, kayak or jet ski for your stay!

Ocean City is a fantastic island beach stretching 9 miles from the ocean inlet to the Delaware line. Over 345,000 visitors are estimated to visit Ocean City each year. This clean, family oriented resort offers crowded beaches, and quiet beaches, boating in the bay and everything in between. This summer we discovered a fitness bootcamp in nearby Fenwick Island and got a real workout. So wether its sunbathing or water sports on the bayside of the island, you will never run out of things to do!

Seacrets, Jaimaica USA Where the action is in Ocean City! Seacrets is an open air beach bar reminiscent of a faraway island paradise. With constant live entertainment, great food and drink, even floating island rafts and oodles of palm trees you will be transported to tropical heaven. And the people watching ain’t bad. Leave the kids at home, this is not a kid friendly place.
When the Rain Comes, Explore the Shops
Our last trip to Ocean City we took a delightful shopping excursion in Bethany Beach, Delaware. Lots of unique boutiques and fun souvenir shops to enjoy. And Mango Mikes is a great beachfront dining establishment to cool your heels and wet your lips after shopping. On the way to Bethany stop at the Pottery Place in Fenwick Island for unique finds and great assortment of garden pottery.
Dining Out - From Fine Dining to Family Friendly
Faustos Italian is our all time favorite, fine dining restaurant in Ocean City. Marina Deck is a family friendly seafood eatery on the docks which has wonderful bread basket that will totally spoil your dinner. Crabcake Factory on 120th Street boasts the best crabcakes in town. We even order them un-cooked and take them back to Islamorada and bake them ourselves. Fish Tales at Bahia Marina—Now, this is the kid friendly version of Seacrets—with a huge pirate ship play gym, the parents and kids can play, eat and drink on the bay with abandon! Check out their marina store—every color Crocs imaginable and lots of cool boating supplies.
The World Class Sport of Putt Putt Golf
Ocean City Golf Courses are primarily Putt Putt—but kids and adults can play for hours on the wide variety of exotic courses up and down Coastal Highway. Who knows, maybe the next Tiger Woods will be groomed on these courses. After all, it is the last putt that separates the winners from the losers in golf.
