Turnberry Developers bought the Fontainebleau in 2006, the resort consists of the historic curved building and the two new luxury condo hotels, Trésor and Sorrento. The hotel's newly designed pools and gardens are about to reopen this Fall, but Trésor and Sorrento each have their own pools, available to guests now.
Ultimately, the Fontainbleau will have 1,504 guest rooms, 11 restaurants, a nightclub, pools with cabana islands, a state-of-the-art fitness center and spa, and more than 60,000 square feet of meeting and ballroom space. The 36-story all-suites tower completed in 2005 remains open continuously during construction. A second all-suites tower opened last year. The new improved resort improvements are being phased in beginning this September will be fully open by January 2009.
